Characteristics:

Light yellowish white crystalline powder. Soluble in acetic acid, slightly soluble in acetone and ethanol (95), hardly soluble in ether. Ethanol (95) solution (1→100) does not show optical activity.

Pharmacological effects:

This product is a benzodiazepine derivative that depresses the central nervous system and has a short duration of action. Displays anxiolytic activity similar to that of anzepam, but with very weak muscle relaxing behavior and sleep enhancing effects. It can treat autonomic symptoms associated with menopausal disorders and autonomic loss (palpitations, sweating, headache, weight loss, uncomfortable feelings, etc.).

Indications:

It is mainly used to treat symptoms such as headache, heavy head, fatigue, tachycardia, sweating caused by autonomic nervous system disorders, head and neck injuries, menopausal disorders, ovarian deficiency, etc.
